Bereaved Parents: Circle of Companions

This program is set up to illuminate a path through grief, to foster hope, resilience and optimism through support, companionship and community connections.

The Bereaved Parents Circle of Companions, at Pallottine Retreat and Conference Center in Florissant, provides crucial resources and a nurturing environment for grieving parents:

• Events have been planned that will help parents move beyond loss, honor their children’s legacies, and rebuild their lives.

• The program fuels hope, radiates optimism, and rallies others to step forward and embrace life again.

• Each program is a testament to the resilience of parents and their belief, rooted in deep faith and their spiritual journey, that love can transform pain

• Parents are encouraged to channel their personal journey of grief into a beacon of hope and action, inspiring other parents to find strength and solidarity.

• Having personally endured unimaginable tragedy, this community exemplifies resilience and the power of positive action.

• Every program is infused with warmth, hope, and authenticity.

• This program illuminates the path through grief for countless families and enriches the St. Louis community with its dynamic spirit.

BIO Diana Gorham

For over thirteen years, Diana Gorham has been an unstoppable force of compassion and leadership as a volunteer with bereavement groups and organizations committed to supporting parents who have lost a child. Diana’s own experience of losing her adult son Michael in 2013 has ignited in her a deep empathy that radiates to all those around her. She channels her personal journey through grief into a beacon of hope and action, inspiring parents to find strength and solidarity. Diana’s openness and willingness to share her emotions foster a vibrant, supportive community.
