The Pallottine Missionary Sisters have named Cindy Costello as the Executive Director of the Pallottine Renewal Center in Florissant.
Costello served for nine years as the chief operating officer at St. Joseph Institute for the Deaf in Chesterfield and has a master’s degree in health care mission from Aquinas Institute of Theology in St. Louis.
Offering opportunities to grow in faith and find spiritual renewal, the center welcomes faith-based groups for retreats, conferences and workshops. The only retreat center in north St. Louis County, it provides meeting and lodging facilities on more than 80 acres.
The center serves a wide variety of groups, from youth group events to adult retreats such as ACTS. It is also hosts many national and international conferences for faith-based organizations and vowed religious communities.
Since 1969 the Pallottine Renewal Center has offered a number of programs to the public, from senior days of reflection to women’s retreats, offerings which Costello hopes to expand.
“We are currently undergoing strategic planning to renew our public offerings,” Costello says. “In the coming year, people from across the archdiocese will be able to attend workshops, days of reflection or overnight retreats with top-notch retreat presenters from the area.”
