St. Vincent Pallotti espoused the belief that all men and women were created in the image and likeness of God. Therefore, we must love our fellow man and neighbor as we love ourselves and God. As Christians, if we are certain that every person has a divine likeness to God himself, how can we not treat everyone we encounter with dignity, honor and love? This is the very basis for the responsibility we have to work for the good of the other.
Have there been times when we have not treated others with respect and dignity? If we could envision the very face of Christ on all we meet, would our actions and behavior be different?
