To St. Vincent, God was alive and vibrant. He believed, therefore, that his response to such a God must be as real and active. Do we acknowledge an “alive and vibrant” God in our own lives? Do we believe that He is most present this day and everyday, and that He is intimately aware of all of our circumstances? If this is the case, then we must choose an interactive relationship with our Lord: one in which we converse and pray with Him knowing that He hears our prayers. We open our hearts and minds, and in these moments, we learn to trust His Holy will for our lives.
